1979 MG B | Belfast, Antrim

A 1979 MG B from the rubber-bumper years, when the MGB sat about an inch higher than earlier cars. It is a familiar sight at British classic-car shows, liked for its friendly, straightforward character and its neat, compact shape. This car is red with a black interior, a bold pairing that reads clearly on camera. The compact body leaves plenty of room in shot for the location around it, and the colour holds its own against both brick and countryside. That look suits 1970s-set film and TV, advertising and music videos, and fashion and editorial photography where a simple, strong palette helps. At events it gives guests a period car to gather around. A wedding or a personal hire works too, for anyone who likes a classic MG. The car is based in Belfast, Antrim.
