1991 Mercedes-Benz W124 | Llanycil, Gwynedd

A 1991 Mercedes-Benz W124, from the mid-sized executive range the company built from 1984 to 1997. The W124 is known for its smooth, low-drag shape and a wide spread of engines, and it became the E-Class in 1993. Its look is that of a restrained prestige car, quietly smart rather than showy. This car is Blue with a Blue interior, so body and cabin match in one calm tone that photographs cleanly. It has a 2.0-litre engine. That suits period film and television, photography and advertising work that needs an understated late twentieth-century executive car, and fashion and editorial shoots where a single colour keeps the frame uncluttered. It also works well for events, where a smart, quiet car arrives without fuss. A wedding or personal occasion is a good fit too. The car is based in Gwynedd.
