1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E | Cardiff

A 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E, the compact rear-wheel-drive executive saloon from the W201 family. The 190E is the fuel-injected petrol version, and its upright, square-cut lines place it firmly in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This car is black with a black interior, a restrained combination that looks sharp and serious in front of a lens. It has a 1.8-litre petrol engine, and the clean four-door body offers plenty of flat panel for reflections and light to play across. Black paintwork and a formal profile suit corporate advertising, fashion and editorial shoots, and film and TV scenes set in the 1990s, where a period business saloon fits the script. Photographers and music video crews get a car whose plain shape keeps attention on the people around it. For a wedding or personal hire it brings a smart, understated look. It is based in Cardiff.
