2006 Land Rover Discovery | Delamere and Oakmere, Cheshire

A 2006 Land Rover Discovery, from the generation known as the Discovery 3. It is liked for its upright, boxy shape, stepped roofline and high driving position. It moved to independent suspension and added Terrain Response, which adjusts the car's settings to the surface underneath. This car is silver with a grey interior, and it is in fair condition. It has a 2720cc diesel engine. The plain colour lets the flat panels and square glass read cleanly, and the tall body gives a camera plenty to frame. Silver also sits neutrally against greenery, brick and stone. For film and TV it suits mid-2000s settings, since it dates from exactly that period. Advertising, photography and fashion or editorial shoots get a quiet backdrop of a car that suits country estates and town streets alike. At events its height and presence work well as an arrival vehicle, and country-style weddings and personal hires suit it too. The car is based in Chester, Cheshire.
