2008 Land Rover Defender | Perth

A 2008 Land Rover Defender, the ladder-chassis four-wheel-drive known for its upright, working shape and aluminium bodywork. By this year a 2.4-litre diesel powered it, bringing a bulge in the bonnet line and a full-width dashboard with clearer instruments and better ventilation. This car is black outside and in, and in very good condition. The dark paint and trim keep the Defender's square lines sharply defined in shot. It seats four, with large flat panels that take reflections and light well. The upright silhouette gives advertising and photography a countryside or expedition scene without props. Black gives fashion and editorial shoots a dark backdrop that keeps attention on the clothes, and film and TV work gets a hard-working rural vehicle for the frame. It also makes a smart, formal arrival for a wedding. The car is based in Perth.
