1972 Jaguar XJ6 | Manchester, Cheshire

A 1972 Jaguar XJ6, the large four-door Jaguar saloon known for a smooth, comfort-first ride and a long, formal profile. This one is a Series 1 with the 4.2-litre straight-six. The car is finished in green outside, with a matching green leather interior. Inside, walnut veneer and analogue dials give the cabin a period feel, and it seats four. The owner gives its condition as excellent, so the paint, leather and wood are all ready for close shots. The green paint and long bonnet suit 1970s-set film and TV, period photography and fashion or editorial work. The upright, dignified shape gives advertising and event arrivals a smart, understated look. It also makes a quietly stylish wedding car. The car is based in Manchester, Cheshire.
