1968 Jaguar Mk2 | West Kingsdown, Kent

A 1968 Jaguar Mk2, the Coventry saloon known for pairing brisk pace with a wood-and-leather cabin. Slim pillars and generous glass give it an open, airy look from outside and in. Police forces used the Mk2 as a patrol car, so it sits naturally in mid-century crime stories. This car is green with a beige interior, a soft, restrained combination that reads warmly on camera. It has the 2.4-litre petrol engine and is in excellent condition, so bodywork and cabin hold up to close-up work. Four people can travel in it. Its upright, formal profile suits period film and TV, particularly 1960s drama and crime settings. Photography and fashion and editorial shoots get large windows that let light into the beige cabin, and advertising and events gain a car with clear period character. Weddings and personal hires are a good fit too. The car is based in West Kingsdown, Kent.
