2009 Honda Transalp V700 | Boxford, Suffolk

A 2009 Honda Transalp V700, the V-twin adventure-tourer Honda built between 2008 and 2012. It is liked for its upright riding position, flexible engine and practical touring kit, including a half-fairing and hand guards. The 19-inch front wheel gave it a more road-focused feel than earlier Transalps. This one is grey throughout, a muted, working look that sits quietly in front of a camera. Its generous ground clearance and deep front fairing give it a capable, go-anywhere stance. It currently wears black paint for a short spell, and it has appeared in the BBC production Wahala. Film and TV productions get a contemporary adventure bike that suits modern travel and outdoor stories. Photographers and fashion and editorial stylists get a rugged backdrop in muted grey that keeps the eye on the clothes. It also suits a modern wedding arrival or a weekend away. The bike is based in Suffolk.
