2002 Honda Civic | Carlisle, Cumbria

A 2002 Honda Civic, from the compact Japanese line that reached Britain in 1972 among the first Honda cars sold here. The Civic is known for using a small footprint well, with a cabin that makes the most of its space. Later versions built a keen enthusiast following. This car is Black outside and Black inside, a uniform, understated look with a 2.0-litre petrol engine. The dark paint picks up reflections and sky, and the plain cabin reads as an everyday early-2000s car. That suits period-set film and TV, where a believable car from the time sits naturally in the background, and photography and advertising that want a clean, neutral subject. Its low-key styling also works for music video, fashion and editorial shoots, and for events where the car should support the scene. Weddings and personal hires are welcome too. The car is based in Carlisle, Cumbria.
