1968 Ford Mk4 Zodiac | Lowestoft, Suffolk

A 1968 Ford Mk4 Zodiac, the large British executive saloon Ford built in the late 1960s around a 3.0-litre V6 and a long, square-edged bonnet. It is known for its four-headlamp front, its spacious cabin and disc brakes on all four wheels. This car is black with a black interior, a formal combination that suits the Zodiac's broad, upright lines. The dark paint keeps attention on the shape: the long bonnet, the wide grille and the stacked headlamps. Five people fit comfortably, with generous room in the rear. That executive presence suits period film and television scenes set in the 1960s and early 1970s, and the plain black finish gives advertising, photography and editorial shoots a smart, understated backdrop. Music videos and events can use the four-headlamp face as a strong shape on camera. For weddings and personal hires, the roomy rear seat makes for a dignified arrival. The car is based in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
