1996 Ford Cosworth | Sedgley, West Midlands

A 1996 Ford Escort Cosworth, the turbocharged performance Ford with a rally background that 1990s enthusiasts still talk about. It is known for wide arches and a bold, aerodynamic shape that reads as a fast car even when parked. This car is finished in vivid imperial blue with a black interior, and it is in excellent condition. A turbocharged 2.0-litre engine sits under the bonnet, and the cabin has four seats. The colour is saturated and the arches are muscular, so the car holds its own against any location. Film and television productions set in the 1990s get a period performance car that places the era at once. Photographers and music video crews have strong lines and rich paintwork to work with, and fashion shoots and static displays suit the same bold shape. It also makes a distinctive choice for a wedding or a personal hire. The car is based in Sedgley, West Midlands.
