Cheshire, England

This vehicle is 1 of 5 left of a Build run of circa 250 in the 30’s, and the only 1 in the UK. The interior is still very original, with some remedial work being required externally. A very rare car with a history back to WWII, this vehicle was used all the way through the war and travelled as far as Salzburg, and indeed was in Salzburg just before Her Hitler announced the Anschluss on 12/3/38. No British manufactures were producing V8 vehicles, and this one was built to compete against the Ford Pilot! Sir John Black ( Standard Motor Company MD) wanted to build a V8 engine, which was built in conjunction with Coventry Climax, with Castings unique to this car by Qualcast, with only one common part from the Standard production line. The original owner an Intelligence in the RAF, with family links, back to Churchills cabinet post war. For further information please contact my self.
