2004 Citroën C4 | Wadsworth, West Yorkshire

A 2004 Citroën C4, from the first generation of Citroën's compact family car. The model is known for its fixed-hub steering wheel, where the centre stays still while the rim turns, and for a speedometer set in the middle of the dashboard. Both give the cabin a distinctly French character. This car is Yellow with a black interior, a clean, bold colour that reads well against brick, concrete and grey northern skies. It seats four. It is left-hand drive: the driver sits on the kerb side, so the front passenger steps out on the road side, and the car has a continental look in shot. The yellow paintwork gives advertising, photography and fashion and editorial work a strong block of colour in frame. The unusual dashboard and wheel suit close-ups in music videos and in film and TV scenes with a European setting. Weddings and personal hires are also possible. The car is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
