1988 Chevrolet Caprice | Birmingham, West Midlands

A 1988 Chevrolet Caprice, the full-size car Chevrolet built for North America from 1965 to 1996. It is known for generous proportions, formal lines and a long career in police fleets. This car is Yellow with a Brown interior, a warm pairing that stands out against brick and tarmac. It is left-hand drive: the driver sits on the kerb side and the front passenger steps out on the road side, which gives a scene a distinctly American look. Under the bonnet is a 5.7-litre engine, and the cabin seats five. Film and TV productions set in the United States get a car whose size and bright paint place a street in the late 1980s. Photographers and music video crews have a wide body with plenty of space around it for lighting and movement. Fashion shoots and American-themed events can use the yellow as a focal point. Weddings and personal hires are welcome too. The car is based in Birmingham, West Midlands.
