1990 BMW E30 325i Convertible | Derby, Derbyshire

The BMW E30 was the second-generation 3 Series, a compact rear-wheel-drive car liked for its neat, upright 1980s lines. It came as a saloon, convertible and Touring, and its compact engineering kept the cabin and boot roomy for the size. This 1990 325i Convertible is finished in Maroon with a beige interior, a warm pairing that sits softly against period colour palettes. It has a 2.5-litre petrol engine and seats four, so a small group can ride in the open air together. With the roof down, everyone inside is in clear view of the camera. The clean 1980s shape suits period film and TV scenes, advertising and automotive photography. The open cockpit gives fashion and editorial shoots and music videos a clear view of the people in the car. Weddings and personal hires get easy arrival scenes and portraits. The car is based in Derby, Derbyshire.
