About this vehicle
1967 Alfa Romeo Sprint GT Veloce | Lincoln, Lincolnshire
The Sprint GT Veloce is the more powerful version of Alfa Romeo's Bertone-bodied coupé, liked for its twin-cam engine and four-wheel disc brakes. A step-front bonnet, a black mesh grille with three chrome bars and green Quadrifoglio badges on the C-pillars mark it out from the plainer Sprint GT. This car is white with a black interior, which has been replaced with the correct trim from Holland. It was registered new in London in November 1967, spent a short spell in Belgium and has had about seven owners. The current keeper has had it for five years, using it for the daily commute and days out, plus a weekend of classic cars at Goodwood. It is in very good condition and is a 2+2. The low, compact coupé shape suits film and television scenes set in the 1960s. The step-front bonnet and badges reward close detail shots for advertising and photography, while white paint against black trim gives fashion and editorial work a clean palette. Motoring and design events can show off the Bertone lines. Weddings and personal hires get an Italian coupé look. The car is based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
