2017 Alfa Romeo 4C | Clapham, Bedfordshire

The Alfa Romeo 4C is a compact, mid-engined sports car built around a carbon-fibre tub. That keeps it light and gives it unassisted, direct steering. It is known for its turbocharged four-cylinder engine and its low, wide stance, and this one dates from 2017. This car is red with a beige interior, a warm pairing that gives a photographer a bold colour outside and a softer one in the cabin. It seats two, and the short, rounded body sits close to the tarmac, which draws the eye along its flanks from every angle. That colour and shape work well for advertising and car-led photography, where the car itself carries the frame. Music video and fashion shoots get a modern Italian look with strong curves, and film and TV productions get a contemporary sports car that reads clearly on screen. It also makes a distinctive choice for a wedding or a special day out. The car is based in Clapham, Bedfordshire.
